Letter From Brooklyn (poems) coming this Spring!

It’s been six years since my first book, More to Keep us Warm (ECW Press) was published. This upcoming collection, Letter from Brooklyn, takes up some similar ‘themes’ of grief, loss, identity, but with a deeper focus on what I would call my radical-Jewish American heritage. Through the medium of poetry, I explore how politics and history shape personal relationships, and vice versa. There is also a ‘prairie poem’ and a poem ‘about’ auto-tune internet mimes, so, it’s a fairly diverse collection too.
